PIT ROAD

ABOUT PIT ROAD

Pit Road is a ministry designed to help meet vehicle needs for people or ministries in difficult financial situations. We do this by providing free labor to those with vehicle issues. While our main scope is helping single mothers and widows, we also help various organizations who reach out to people in difficult situations. As vehicles are donated to us, we are then able to donate vehicles to individuals or groups in need.

All the work done at Pit Road is completed by volunteers from all ages and walks of life. These volunteers meet every Tuesday evening to work for 3-4 hours, all in the Maple City Chapel building. Being an old Wal-Mart building, we are fully equipped with a four-bay auto shop on-site. The work is funded in multiple ways:

Individuals paying for their own parts – labor is free of charge.

Interested individuals or businesses contributing to the fund.

Maple City Chapel’s budget has a portion set aside for Pit Road.
