KIDS
Maple City Kids is designed to teach kids about Jesus on their level in a safe, fun environment. Every Sunday, babies through 6th-grade students are taught the Bible in a creative, age-appropriate way while building relationships with adult volunteers and peers. We have a variety of serving positions from Kids Checkin, to large group and small group leaders, and even our behind-the-scenes helpers. Find your way to serve or reach out with your specific gifts.
STUDENTS
Our Maple City Students meet weekly on Wednesdays to grow in faith together in creative, age-appropriate ways, all while building relationships with adult volunteers and peers. We have a variety of serving positions including our “Coaches” or small group adult leaders for High School and Jr. High, security, drivers, and meal and cafe volunteers.
HOSPITALITY
Our hospitality team specializes in helping people belong and feel welcome from the parking lot until the moment they leave. Areas of service include greeters, usher, Connection Center, and more.

- Small Group Leader Assistant for Elementary
- Build relationships with kids, assist in leading small group activities
- Small Group Leader for Early Childhood
- Build relationships with kids, lead small group activities
- Large Group Host
- Lead Elementary large group (K-4th) by teaching the bible story or being the host who leads an engaging game. (lessons and materials provided)
- Coordinator
- Welcome families as they check in, welcome new visitors and help them find new rooms, and help support small group leaders

Prayer Warrior (digital/in-person)
- Receive specific prayer requests throughout the month
- Dedicate time to praying over students by name
- Ask God to bless and enrich Maple City Students
Meal Volunteer (special occasions)
- Help coordinate any student meals
- Help shop for and prepare the meal
- Setup, serve, and cleanup the meal
Van Driver (once a month)
- Be 21+ and have a clean driving record
- Drive the MCCh van around Elkhart Co. to pick up and drop-off students
- Have friendly interactions with all students
Security Guard (twice a month)
- Be 21+ and be prepared to handle any uncertain situation
- Do walks throughout the NextGen hallway and building
- Be attentive and alert during the evening's event
Seasonal Coach (seasonal)
- Be committed to our ministry goals and our students
- Be someone consistent that students can trust in
- Challenge yourself and your students via seasonal classes
Adult Coach (weekly)
- Be committed to our ministry goals and our students
- Be someone consistent that students can trust in
- Challenge yourself and your students during small group time

Connection Center
- Greet visitors and answer questions as needed.
Ushers
- Greet people and help them find seats in the auditorium.
Greeters
- Greeters are positioned throughout the commons to ensure that everyone feels welcomed and loved.
WORSHIP MINISTRY
Our worship volunteers deliver an excellent, distraction-free worship environment. If you’re creative, intuitive, hard-working, and have a passion for excellence and details, working with the creative team might be a great fit. Consider a position in our worship band or audio/visual tech team. Pour into our community as an online host or photographer. Find your creative fit.
WOMEN
Maple City’s Women Ministry aspires to be a place where women are empowered to serve each other through the gifts of the Holy Spirit. We are building small, focused auxiliary teams who will carry out specific parts of our ministry. Is hospitality your gift? Teaching? Administration? Technology? We have a place for your gifts.
MEN
Maple City Men’s Ministry is looking for a few great men to join their Leadership Team. The team works together – meets monthly to plan the upcoming breakfast and any other events on the horizon. They share responsibility in preparing for events, making breakfast, leading meetings, etc. Reach out to our team and we’ll follow up.

Electric Guitar
- Wail on some guitar leads for us! Audition process is required.
Bass Guitar
- Keep that rhythm section solid and pump the subs! Audition process is required.
Drums
- Set that fat beat! Experience with click and tracks is encouraged. Audition process is required.
Keys/Piano
- Play piano or keys? We need you! Audition process is required.
FOH Audio
- Make us sound good on Sundays! Experience in audio and digital mixing consoles required.
Live Stream Audio
- Make us sound good online on Sundays! Experience in audio and DAW’s are encouraged but we provide training!
Lighting Operator
- Like to create and run light shows or want to learn how? This is a great spot!
Camera Operator
- A great entry level position that is crucial! Man one of our cameras and help create a great feel live and online!
Photographers
- Tell the story of Maple City on Sundays throughout our building through pictures! Experience in photography and editing is encouraged. Experience in low-light settings is a plus!
Online host
- Make people feel welcome and engaged on our live stream!

Women of Prayer
- Prayer is one of the most amazing gifts God has given us. Join women each month as they pray together. Help plan the meetings or host one yourself.
Parties
- This auxiliary team plans our "fun" activities. We need help with the annual Christmas party, a summer picnic, and other light-hearted gatherings. Help with one or help with all!
Bible Studies
- Is the study of God's word your passion? This auxiliary team plans and organizes the Bible studies for our women. Host a study. Teach a study or facilitate a group. Be a discussion table leader! There are many ways to help on this team.
Tech Team
- This team helps at our gatherings by running the sound systems. Are you technologically skilled? If not, we can train you!
Worship Team
- Do you sing? Do you play an instrument? Join this small, intimate Maple City Worship team. This auxiliary team uses their gifts at our many women's gatherings throughout the year.
Hospitality Team
- If your gift is serving, we have a place for you! This auxiliary team is used throughout the year in all our ministries. We greet. We host. We prepare and serve food. This is the frontline at Maple City Women, and your role is vital to our community.
Promotion Team
- We need admin help on this team!! Social media, weekly and monthly newsletters, promo flyers, and all other types of promo is what this team does. We are looking for someone to oversee all the moving parts. If you like graphic design, if you are an expert at social media, if you like to write -- this is the team for you!
DIY Team
- This is a team "in the works." Join women who like to use their hands to be creative. Help plan the gatherings! Be a host! Teach a demo class! Share your creations with others! This auxiliary team is in it's infancy stage -- we need you to help the team design and build this ministry.
Mentoring Team
- This is a team "in the works." If mentoring is your passion, join this team and help design and build this new ministry.
Recall Team
- This is a team "in the works." If scripture memorization is your passion, join this team and help design and build a new ministry for women of Maple City.

FACILITY TEAM
Serving on the Sunday Morning Facility Team is about creating a welcoming, safe, and inviting space where people can encounter Jesus. Whether brewing coffee, staffing the bookstore, ensuring safety, offering medical support, refreshing our spaces, or adding beauty through decor, each role contributes to helping others connect in worship and community. Every detail matters, and so does your service!

Sunday Pre-Service Prayer Team
Covers the morning services in prayer, either before or during worship.
Sunday Altar Ministry Prayer Team
Prays with individuals seeking encouragement, healing, or a deeper connection with God after the sermon.
Wednesday Intercessory Prayer Team
Gathers weekly to lift up prayer requests, intercede for the church, and seek God's direction.

Coffee team - Create a warm, welcoming atmosphere by preparing and serving coffee to our church community. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys hospitality and connecting with others over a cup of coffee.
Refresh Team - Play a vital role in maintaining a welcoming and organized space for our congregation and visitors. This volunteer position involves tidying up and ensuring the church remains a clean and inviting environment.
Safety Team - Help ensure a secure and welcoming environment for all who attend services, events, and activities. As a volunteer safety person, you’ll play a vital role in maintaining a peaceful atmosphere while being prepared to respond to emergencies or concerns.
Medic - Provide basic medical assistance to ensure the safety and well-being of our church community. Your role will be essential during services, offering support in case of minor injuries, medical concerns, or emergencies.
Bookstore Team - Help create an inviting and resourceful space for our congregation. This role involves assisting visitors and providing excellent service to those seeking faith-based books, resources, and gifts.
Decor Team - Help create a warm and inviting atmosphere by designing and setting up seasonal and event-based decorations throughout the church. This team helps enhance worship spaces with thoughtful visual elements that reflect the heart and mission of Maple City Chapel.
